A supple chair that is efficiently produced and refurbished.
The Hertzian chair derives its ergonomics from its body-contacting surfaces being constructed as a series of independent, interchangeable, elastically deformable members. As the load of the sitter is applied, each member begins to conform locally to both subtleties of the load’s magnitude and its direction.
